Bullies and harassers will soon come to feel like foreigners in a land where personal boundaries are considered significant, important and legitimate. There is a chance that with boundary setting in place, abusers will be forced to, at the very least, moderate their actions to retain citizenship.

While boundary setting does not guarantee immunity from bullies and harassers, it certainly makes scaling the walls of ignoring individual rights and needs more difficult for them—we want to make the path for such individuals as impassable as we can.
